AOC Minervois

A fresh and elegant white wine

This new cuvée was first launched in the summer of 2024. The aim of the Domaine de L'Ostal Grand Vin Blanc is to produce wines which, while preserving the characteristics of Minervois wines, are centered on fruit, purity, freshness and elegance.

The grapes are harvested by hand and pressed in whole bunches, which allows them to be processed gently. This blend of Roussanne, Marsanne, Viognier and Muscat is aged individually in barrels for seven months.

Complex and elegant, this Grand Vin Blanc has a remarkable freshness with exotic notes and a texture balanced between smoothness and acidity. Its barrel ageing prolongs its persistence with great finesse.

The silver disc on the label is reminiscent of a lunar eclipse, a perfect complement to the Grand Vin Rouge.

Vintages

2023 was a very sunny year, with little rainfall. The hot, dry and windy summer enabled the grapes to reach perfect ripeness in excellent sanitary conditions. The harvest took place in excellent circumstances at the end of August and in the first half of September.
The white grapes were picked at night to retain maximum freshness and preserve their aromatic potential. The berries were small, with a high concentration of aromas, which enabled a good balance between freshness and richness.
