The Bistro
in the village of Bages

In the centre of the village of Bages, the Café Lavinal opened in 2006 and owes its name to Berthe Lavinal, grandmother of Jean-Michel Cazes.

The ambience here is warm and friendly, with amazing objects brought back by Jean-Michel Cazes from his travels and other souvenirs of his grandchildren’s summers in Bages.
Adjacent to Château Lynch-Bages, it is a popular place for winemakers and locals wanting to catch up over a hearty meal in the heart of the Pauillac Classified Growths.

Our warm and welcoming bistro serves a simple, traditional and tasty market-inspired menu made from regional produce. In good weather, its sunny terrace is perfect for appreciating its stunning views and prime location.

The Café Lavinal provides a banqueting room that can seat 40.

The wine list offers over 220 references of wines from Bordeaux and elsewhere.
